I honestly don’t know anyone who dislikes cookie dough or brownie batter. Anyone?
As a kid (okay, now too) eating the batter was one of the absolute best parts about baking with my mom and/or sister. There’s just something deliciously magical about spooning gooey, sweet dough that melts in your mouth!
These days, baking with my (almost 3 years old) son is no different. He would much rather dig into the bowl of batter than eat the treats afterwards, haha. Which, of course inspired me to create this recipe: Vegan Brownie Batter.
This is a batter that can safely be eaten raw, but can also be baked into brownies if you prefer. It’s basically a win-win! And of course, since it’s chocolate you most definitely cannot go wrong! (Chocolate addict over here.)

This Vegan Brownie Batter is thick and has a rich chocolate flavor.
It tastes great by the spoonful, but also baked into brownies. I made a few Vegan Brownie Batter “sandwiches” with almond butter.
They may not look it, but the brownies were actually quite moist…the way a brownie should be in my opinion 😉 They store well in the fridge for up to a week.
