A couple weekends ago I had a family dinner and made these energy bites for dessert. Needless to say, they were a hit! But then again, who doesn’t love something chocolate 😉
In this recipe I used one of my favorite brands of protein powder from Wild Foods Company. Their protein powder is made from the raw milk of grass fed cows. It is hormone free, gently processed, sweetened with Stevia and has a great taste. It is definitely something I would recommend if you are interested in a healthy, high-quality protein powder.
On to the recipe for these treats:
*Substitute with chocolate plant based protein powder for Vegan option
**I melted dark chocolate chips with about 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil to thin out the chocolate
